BOARD MEETING MINUTES

July 30, 2005

CALL TO ORDER: President Darlene Hendrickson called the meeting to order at 2:10 p.m. at the site. Present were Executive Director Jody Crowe, Board President: Darlene Hendrickson, Secretary: Jill Evans, Treasurer: Donna Benson and Board Members: Judy Sorenson, Dave Anderson, Mary Barthel.. Board Members not in attendance were Lee Siepp, Nancy Cross, Randy Cousins, and Ray Gildow.

Secretary’s Report: No report

Treasurer’s Report: No report

OLD BUSINESS:

Nominating Committee: The Nominating Committee nominated Dave Anderson, Jill Evans, Judy Sorenson, and Laura Oldham for the 3 year term of Director. Nominations closed

The board elected Dave Anderson, Jill Evans, Judy Sorenson, and Laura Oldham each to a three year term as Director.

The president asked Laura Oldham to join the meeting.

Finance Committee: The committee presented their report. Judy Sorenson recommended that the Board change in the By-laws the fiscal year to run from 7/01 to 6/30. Dave Anderson seconded, approved.

NEW BUSINESS:

Mary Barthel moved that the Board send a thank you card and a $50 donation to Rod Skorich’s Snowmobile Club to thank them for the use of their tent during the show. Dave Anderson seconded, motion passed.

Mary presented Lilah with an Appreciation card to thank her for all her work on the show this year.

Donna Benson gave a preliminary show report. Attendance total this year was 2311, total deposited so far is $19252.40. The Kissing Both raised $159.25. Ad sales this year brought in over $4000.

Next meeting will be August 15^th at 7:00 p.m. at the office.

Adjournment: Dave Anderson moved to adjourn the meeting at 3:05 p.m.
