Previous minutes approved. Minutes dated 7/27/06 approved as corrected and posted on the Internet. o Note, Mary will contact Randy about continuing as Secretary. |

Treasurer’s Report – Judy - See Financial Report dated. - Future items considered o $175 dues for Chamber of Commerce – it was decided not to continue with the Chamber at this time. This may be revisited if our finances improve. o Commerce & Industry Show next April – based on return from last year’s show, it was decided not to do at this time. o HOP meeting and grant Thursday, September 28 at 9 a.m. 1. Donna was to do final report on the grant. No more money unless we get the land. 2. Lee, Peter, Judy, Jill and Rod volunteered to attend. Judy will arrange. - Concessions report from Rod o They made $1682 net income. The deal was to pay us 20% of the net. Rod paid $700, part as a contribution. |

Director’s Report – Lilah o 2007 show dates: July 12, 13, & 14; 19, 20 & 21; 26, 27 & 28. o 2007 Clean up: Saturday, July 29th. |

Producer’s Report – Jody called o Sue and Jim are acting as our attorneys. Ask to check on status of land with railroad o Jody back mid-October or Thanksgiving |

President’s Report – Mary o Set ticket prices in January. Some confusion this year. Need prices for the website o Moved by Ray and seconded: cast and crew to be given: 2 free tickets to kids under 18 and 1 free ticket to adults for their spouse or significant other. Passed. |

Webmaster’s Report – Mary o 969 visits in July. o Setting up blog for the Producer o Danielle will help Mary to get our website out to more links like the Chamber, Brainerd School District, and Convention and Visitors Bureau |

Future items: - Thank you to Rick and Deb Cole for all their work on the set and production. - October – Invite Vacationland to review their proposal. Rod will invite. - October – Applebees’ Pancake feed Saturday fundraiser. Jill will get details - November – Staples Historical Society, Deb Forlander. Ray will do. - November – Short term Strategic planning & Long term Strategic Planning - November – Mary will talk to Lee about idea for Winter Orange Ball Golf on Gull Lake as a fundraiser. - Founding Fifty – ask Lee for a report. - November – Peter will meet with Rick Cole about marketing ideas and report to board. Especially needed for early next year. - For next summer – idea for Scholarship. $100 for a cast or crew member under 24 and involved for 2 or more years to be based on their involvement. Committee formed of Danielle, Mary and Gina. - Create production packet for each cast and crew member for next year. Would not be allowed to participate unless signed forms returned (extra copy to be retained by cast/crew member) o Letter to be signed by person and parents of children with § Rules of conduct § Phone number of person to contact if cannot make a show § Dress rehearsal dates and times § Sign-up for clean-up o Insurance sheet for signature |
