Addition to the minutes dated
of a resolution to file with the Minnesota Attorney General’s office the charitable
organizations registration statement to allow us to solicit contributions.
Treasurer’s report: Balance in the checking account is $822. To date, $375 has been
received in donations from the fundraising letter. ~$266 in bills still remain to be
paid from the C & I fair.
Judy has received no response from Front Street Café for the $150 owed on the
program from last years show. Board decided to write it off.
C & I booth update
Public glad to hear the production still proceeding in Jody’s absence.
New contacts made regarding acting in the show
Entries into drawing to be engineer & ride in on the train during the show.
Rick Cole has accepted the position to be the local coordinator.
Lilah met someone who may be potential music director
Tryouts still set for May 16,18 at
Park United Methodist church from
will be mailed out and a press release is planned.
Looking to hire someone to sell advertising for the program and will pay 10% of sales.
Will take in-kind payment only through board approval.
Thursdays will be “Red Hat” nights, and group sales will be held until ~15 minutes prior
to the show.
Arranging for someone to run sound & light.
Darlene will arrange for someone to record and produce a DVD of the show.
Darlene will arrange for someone to do makeup.
Space may open up at BNSF to store costumes.
July 4th parade with truck pulling caboose and trailer. Darlene will ask Barb or Lee to
help with this.
Mary will do newsletter.
Jolyn will be asked to help with Publicity committee. Will have shirts again.
